Postnatal yoga helps women to heal and strengthen their bodies after childbirth. The primary focus is for mothers to use asana (postures) to tone and strengthen from the inside out, while giving special time for them to connect with their babies. Postnatal classes are appropriate for women from about four to six weeks postpartum, up until about six months, or when baby begins to crawl.
Keisha was blessed by the practice of yoga in 1995 when she took her first class. She was immediately fascinated by the mental,physical and spiritual effects of yoga and followed the path to become an instructor.
